Briquetting processes.-Ore and like material is briquetted with a binder comprising sulphite cellulose waste liquor and a spreading medium consisting of a sludge-like substance such as coal sludge. The liquor may be mixed simultaneously with the sludge and raw material or first mixed with the sludge. Equal quantities of sludge and liquor are normally suitable.
