Combing-machines.- The waste thrown off in each head by the brushes in the casings 1 is drawn in a loose or fluffy condition through a common conduit 2 and pipe 3 by a fan 4, and passes through the fan to a flue 6 along which it is blown to a suitable collecting chamber or receptacle. The flue 6 may serve a number of machines and be situated under the floor, as shown, or be carried under the roof.
