Abstract

221,783. Varvel, S. Le F. Sept. 14, 1923, [Convention date]. Spray carburettors. - The float needle valve 14 is provided with a magnetizable cap 15 and is lifted by an electromagnet 17 to flood the carburettor for starting, the circuit to a lamp or other indicator on the dashboard being simultaneously closed. The closing of the indicator circuit is effected by the cap 15 engaging a non-magnetic slidable rod 18 which, through a spring - returned plug 19, forces a spring plate 21 on a binding post 22 into contact with a binding post 23.
