Optical - projection apparatus; viewing- apparatus. - Apparatus enabling a diapositive or a projected stationary or kinematograph image to be viewed comprises a casing a having an opening b, a mirror c, and a frosted-glass or other translucent screen f, the screen being shielded by the walls of the casing. The dia-positive d is carried in a frame e and illuminated by a lamp g. When a projected image is to be viewed, a projection apparatus and a mirror to reflect the light beam on to the screen f are substituted for the lamp g, and the frame e is removed.
