Abstract
386,545. Displaying. SIMPLEX PATTERN PROJECTION CORPORATION, 44, Whitehall Street, Manhattan, New York, U.S.A. June 17, 1932, No. 17180. Convention date, June 20, 1931. [Class 3 (ii).] The image of a stencil or the like is optically projected on a screen of patterned material to outline a dress or other object in that material. The screen may be viewed directly or by reflection in a mirror. Fig. 1 shows in plan a lantern 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 carried by a conical light-excluder 10 extending from a cabinet 9 in which is removably mounted a .screen 20 of the required material. The screen is seen through an opening 14 by reflection from a mirror 23 adjustably pivoted at 24. The screen 20 is carried in guides 22 on a door 15 hinged at 16 to allow of adjustment also of the screen relative to the mirror 23. Fig. 3 shows a painted transparency 4 acting as a stencil, and Fig. 6 depicts two plates 26 hinged at 27 to receive the transparency 4 between them and form a slide.
