Device for measuring the exposure times for photographic enlargements and reductions.
The invention relates to a device for measuring the exposure times in the case of photographic enlargements and reductions by means of a comparison field that is variable and movable with regard to brightness.
According to the invention, the light cone of the projection lamp is partially shielded and in this
EMI1.1
to the projection surface, arranged upright, which corresponds to the light values of the projected negatives on the
Projection surface can be brought directly into agreement.
The vertical comparison plane touches the projection surface on one side in a straight line and thus enables the easy readability of the tonal value of the projected onto the recording surface
Negatives.
To carry out this process, a device is used according to the invention, the example of which is shown in FIGS. 1-3. The device has, for example, a prismatic shape and is closed at the top by a desk-shaped or horizontal, light-tight cover.
A lightbulb G for the usual voltages of 110 to 230 volts is housed in a light-tight compartment. The connection to the light network is made using a light cable L, the easiest way to do this together with the plug to which the enlarger is connected. The circuit is interrupted in the connected state and is only closed by actuating a button T arranged on the rear wall of the device, whereby the light bulb lights up. The end of the light bulb protrudes into a white reflective surface (hatched horizontally in FIGS. 2 and 3) and throws an evenly distributed light through a small aperture-like opening Ö onto a row of windows covered with opal glass 0.
In front of this measuring window F, the slide Sch with its comparison field V is passed in a light-tight guide wall. A gray wedge made of glass or celluloid serves as a comparison field. A pointer Z, which shows the exposure times on the exposure table B, is attached to the Seh slider. The exposure table has several columns, according to the light sensitivity of the paper types used for enlargement.
Fig. 3 shows a device based on the same principle, but with a normal flashlight battery as a light source.
PATENT CLAIMS: l. Device for measuring the exposure times in photographic enlargements and reductions by means of a comparative field which is variable and movable with respect to its brightness, characterized in that it is in a shielded part of the light cone of the projection lamp, e.g. B. perpendicular to the projection surface, and this touches one side along a straight line.
