Abstract

205,993. Ranger, H. J. Oct. 16, 1922. Windscreens.-Relates to windscreens for the rear seats of motor vehicles of the kind comprising two sections or panels A, B mounted by means of a central hinge C on the back of the front seat F and connected at their edges to the doors K so as to swing forwardly to give uninterrupted access to the rear seats when the doors are opened. The screen is supported at its centre by forming on the hinge pin C a downward extension C' which is adapted to fit in a fixed vertical sleeve bracket E, while the outer ends are preferably connected to the doors by cranked rods G engaging brackets H, J on the panels and doors respectively.
