Abstract

Awnings of the kind which are adapted to afford protection for the driver and the side-car occupant of a motor cycle and side-car combination comprise a main hoop a pivoted to a bracket on the side car and to a frame d, e clipped to the carrier and to the cycle stay g. The hoop a has pivoted to it a collapsable hoop j which further carries a second collapsable hoop k, a strut m being provided to stiffen the structure when extended. A rear hoop e is provided upon which the awning rests when collapsed. The hoop k may have a wind-screen with side extensions secured thereto.
