Mixing air and gas.-A device for mixing air and producer or suction gas for use as fuel in an internal-combustion engine comprises a primary mixing-chamber A having a gas inlet B and a number of small air inlet apertures in the cover D controlled by a rotary shutter E, an intermediate mixing-chamber A' having a series of rectangular slots A<3> in its wall, a final mixing-chamber F, and an outlet G of small cross-section leading to the engine intake. An extra air valve may be provided at the bottom of the chamber F or on the pipe G.
