Motor power plant.-The low-pressure stage of a steam or gas turbine is in a casing or casings separate from the high-pressure stage and is divided into three or four parts arranged in parallel. Separate condensers may be provided for the several exhausts and may be suitably connected together or may be all connected to a single air-pump. The whole of the turbine may have a common shaft, or, one or more of the low-pressure stage parts may be arranged on a separateshaft.
