Abstract

Seals.-A two-part rivet which is engaged in the work without hammering comprises a ball or cylindrical member A, a solid cylindrical shank B, and an expanding ring C. The member A has an internal annular groove, and the ring c which is carried in an external annular groove in the shank B is adapted to expand into engagement therewith when the parts are pressed together. In a modification, two rings C and two pairs of annular grooves are provided.
