Hand driving- mechanism. - A knob or handle 8 is rotatably mounted on a bearing 5 which is secured to a lock &c. plate 1, by screwing to a split ferrule 14, the halves of which have projections 16 engaging ears 2 pressed up from the plate. The spindle 10, engaging a recess 9 in the handle, may be that of an ordinary lock.
