Abstract
958,442. Securing knobs on shafts. SIEMENS-SCHUCKERTWERKE A.G. July 23, 1962 [July 22, 1961], No. 28313/62. Heading F2U. [Also in Division H2] Handle 2 is pushed on to a rotatable member 4 until a projection 16 on a spring-pressed pawl 10 engages in a recess 11 in member 4. A driving shaft 3 is rigidly coupled with the member 4 so as to be rotated by handle 2. Alternative shapes of the recess 11 determine whether a tool is necessary to detach handle 2 from member 4, as shown, or whether the handle is removed simply by pulling (Fig. 6, not shown).
