Abstract

488,169. Brushes; hand-tool handles. STOCKER, E. O. Jan. 17, 1938, No. 1543. Convention date, Jan. 22, 1937. [Classes 19 and 61 (i)] One or more brushes are mounted in sockets A, Fig. 1, attached to flexible laths B adjustably set in a multiple handle C. The laths may be adjusted by set screws D. Relatively short fibres may be used and brushes of different widths and flexibilities are available. Individual brushes may be detached and used separately in the same or another handle. A single wide brush E, Fig. 4, is shown mounted on a flexible sheet metal stem F riveted to a handle at G.
