Eyeglasses.-An adjustable bridge for eyeglasses &c. comprises two members 3, 3<1> relatively movable, one of the members being provided with a spring blade 6 fastened near one end and fitted with a tooth 7 at the free end adapted to engage in one of several recesses 8 on the other member 3<1>. To lock the members together a rotatable key 11 pivoted to the member 3 is provided, and is shaped so that in one position the tooth 7 is pressed into one of the recesses 8, securing the lenses at the desired distance apart. Partial rotation of the key releases the tooth enabling the interocular distance to be varied.
