Abstract

Eye-examining apparatus. - Apparatus for self diagnosis of the eye comprises magnifying and reflecting surfaces a, b mounted on each side of a frame c provided with a handle d. Pointers f, pivotally mounted on rings e in the frame c enable the observers to indicate relatively to the annular rim changes noticeable in the eye. The surfaces may comprise concave mirrors or plane mirrors with convex lenses situated before them. Alternatively the two magnifying and reflecting surfaces may be mounted side by side, separated by an interval equal to the pupillary distance.
