Abstract

320,093. Lucas, Ltd., J., and Egginton, W. H. July 4, 1928. Securing handles on shafts.-A handle b for the door, window, &c. of a motor &c. is secured to its spindle by means of a feather e engaging with a groove in the end of the spindle and a transversely sliding plate h passing through a slot in the boss g of the handle and engaging with a groove j in the spindle. The plate h is retained in place by a spring k. A spring f bearing on the feather e prevents any looseness in the coupling.
