Abstract

335,171. Parkes, S. R. June 13, 1929. Addition to 317,972, [Class 20 (iii), Doors &c.]. Hand driving-mechanism.-The crank handle of a window regulator as described in the parent Specification is rotatably secured to the rose or escutcheon plate 54 and has a pin and slot 58, 57 making a driving connection with the sleeve 9 of the actuating mechanism which allows the handle to be applied to doors of different thicknesses. The handle boss 55 is rotatably locked to the rose by a sleeve 56 secured by depressing same into recesses in the boss. The quick release for the clutch of the actuating device is of the kind described in the parent Specification.
