Abstract
196,945. Marks, E. C. R., (Worthington Pump & Machinery Corporation). Oct. 31, 1921. Cylinders receiving liquid fuel.-In engines in which the fuel is directed towards the outlet 1 of a chamber D through which it is expelled into the cylinder by the combustion of part of it, the outlet is formed in a thin plate e which becomes thicker towards its periphery. Solid as well as liquid fuel may be used in the apparatus,.and the clearance in the cylinder is in the form of a hemispherical chamber F.
