193,163. British Thomson-Houston, Co., Ltd., (General Electric Co.). Nov. 22, 1921. Induction motor meters; polyphase meters; power meters.-Polyphase induction meters are provided with adjustable auxiliary potential coils on the same core limbs as the main potential coils, the auxiliary and main coils being connected to different phases, for the purpose of maintaining the phase relationship of the fluxes independent of wide and continuous variations of frequency. As shown, the auxiliary coil 18 is connected in series with the main coil 9 across lines 2 - - 3, and the auxiliary coil 19 in series with the main coil 8 across lines 1 - - 2, the coils 8, 18 and 9, 19 being on the core limbs 12 and 15 respectively. The number of active turns in the auxiliary coils is varied by switches 22, 23. Specification 193,152 is referred to.
