Frequency, measuring.-A magnetic vane V is controlled by the current in one pair of coils M<1> and deflected by the current in another pair of coils M<2>, the coils being connected through an inductance L' and condenser C such that the currents through L' and C are of opposite phase and equal magnitude at normal frequency. A resistance R may be included to limit the current harmonics, and an inductance L<2> to reduce wave-form error as in wireless telegraphy generators. The coils may be wound upon an iron core.
