Abstract
623,713. Phase changing. SINGH, W. K. May 20, 1947, No. 13490. Drawings to Specification. [Class 38 (ii)] Two phase currents are derived from a single-phase current by means of a transformer with a divided magnetic circuit. The flux in one limb is retarded by means of a short-circuited turn thereon and a phase displaced current obtained from a secondary winding on that limb. Additional phases may be obtained similarly, the impedance of each short-circuit turn being different.
