Wind and like screens. - The forward side window F of a motor vehicle having a collapsable ho o d is hinged to brackets B<2> on the pillars of the front screen and can open and close with the door and act as a side screen when the hood is collapsed. A link or stay H is provided to hold the window open for signalling to traffic &c. The rear window E is held by a suitable fastening in a felt-lined groove C<2> in the hood pillar and has a guard plate E<2> engaging a resilient inset in the fence rail. The rear window is preferably carried in an L-shaped frame J, when the hood is collaped. The frame is pivoted to a swinging bracket L and enables the window to be used as a side or front screen.
