Abstract

Vehicle windows. - Open vehicles provided with a collapsible hood 4 supported by pivoted members 5 are adapted to be closed in at the eides by a detachable structure comprising upper and lower members a, b, cross-members d, and glazed sashes f, g. The bar a is in sections a<1>, a<2>, a<3> secured to the body parts 1 and doors 2, 3 respectively. The sashes g slide in grooves in the members a, b so that they may be disposed behind the sashes f to allow opening of the doors. In the closed position,. the sashes g are held by cam levers 7 with their front and rear edges between one flange of the groove and an upright c and the sash f as shown in Fig. 4. The members b conform, as shown, to the top of the hood.
