Abstract

290,472. Wolseley Motors (1927), Ltd., and Boden, O. July 27, 1927. Windscreens.-In closed road vehicles of the type having a sloping wind screen and a door hinged at the forward edge and provided with a fixed window panel at the forward portion of the door the inclined forward edge of the fixed window panel on the door is adapted, when the door is closed, to enter a groove or channel in the rear side of the inclined side pillar of the windscreen. As shown the fixed window panel 6 projects beyond the door and is adapted to enter a groove 5 in the pillar 4. The window panel 6 is carried by a metal frame 8 and a window 7 which may be slidable vertically or horizontally is provided.
