Abstract

13,793. Hoe & Co., R. Sept. 28. Delivery apparatus. - A printing-machine, adapted to deliver the sheets flat and printedside up to a delivery carrier travelling in the direction in which the sheet travels during delivery is constructed with a cylinder 1 having a printing-surface 2 and a sheet-carrying surface 3, and the sheet, taken from a board 9 by the grippers 8 of an impression cylinder 7, is printed against the surface 2 and transferred to the surface 3 by which it is delivered to a carrier 16. The surface 2 may be an offset surface receiving the design from a plate cylinder 5, and the plate and impression cylinders preferably make two revolutions to one of the cylinder 1. The usual pivoted and oscillating feed board 9, rising and falling front stops 10, and strippers 18 may be provided.
