6394. Lake, W. E., [Cottrell & Sons Co., C. B.]. March 14. Delivery apparatus.-In a rotary printing- press in which two or more sheets are fed to the impression cylinder at each revolution thereof, the printed sheets are transferred by a cylinder 27 to a cylinder 28 where they are associated with slip sheets and delivered by suitable delivery devices 41. At each revolution of the feeding-cylinder 19, one sheet is fed to the impression cylinder 11, and, after printing, is delivered to the transfer cylinder 27 to be transferred to the associating-cylinder 28, where it is associated with a slip sheet fed from the cylinder 32. The sheets are then fed together past guides 42, 43 to suitable delivery devices. Fixed guides keep the sheets close to the cylinder 27. Stops are provided to operate the various grippers at suitable times and also operating-devices for the front stops 47, 48.
