[Addition to 15,562/12.] Clutches, friction.-In a clutch as described in the parent Specification, the outer clutch segments F are rigidly bolted at one end to a flange or flywheel B on the shaft A, and at the other end to a flanged ring H. A coned collar M on the operating- sleeve J positively disengages the inner clutch segments I when the sleeve is moved to the left. The Provisional Specification describes a modification in which the clutch is disengaged by a spring.
