July.30 Holders.-In a head lamp for motor-vehicles. a holder d is clamped in a casing a so as to be adjustable with respect to a reflector b, by a split conical ring f, which embraces the holder d and is forced into a conical sleeve c on the casing by a nut g, a washer h being optionally interposed as shown. A collar d<1> on the holder is adapted to engage a flange j on the nut or a flange i on the sleeve c to prevent the holder from falling out of the casing when slackened. The holder may be fitted with a supply plug k at one end.
