Abstract

7178. Biheller, S. March 22. Incandescent gas burners. - Relates to incandescent gas lamps or lanterns in which access to the interior is obtained as described in Specification 8331/07, and consists of means to permit removal of the gas regulator. Branch pipes a lead to each inverted burner from the main supply pipe A. Upon a portion a<2> of each pipe a is threaded a sleeve f, the tapered end f<2> of which normally holds the regulator G upon its seating at the end of the mixing-tube a<3>. A lock-nut f<1> holds the sleeve f in position. Means other than the screw-thread may be provided for raising and lowering the sleeve f. The hit- and-miss air - regulator H is adjusted by an arm H<1> extending through the casing.
