Vehicle lamp supports ; vehicle lamps, attaching to lamp brackets.-In vehicle head-lights of the type in which the lamp holder is mounted in a support to which the lamp casing is secured by a screw connection, the support A, mounted on the mud-guard &c. C, is provided with a flange. a screw-threaded on its interior, the threaded portion being slightly conical, into which is screwed a split' ring b<2> on the lamp casing B. To lock the ring b<2> and the flange a together a knob b<4> carried by a spring b<5> secured to the casing B normally projects through an opening b<6> in the ring b<2>, but when the latter is screwed into the flange a, the knob b<4> passes through an opening a' in the flange a. A central hole a<1> in the base of the flange a is provided to receive the lamp holder a<2>. The lamp may be used as an inspection lamp without detaching it from its support.
