12,811. Moussiaux, J. June 2. Cylinders receiving liquid fuel.-The liquid fuel is supplied by a pump past the non- return valve 5 to a cavity 2 in the nozzle 1, in which cavity a piston 8 with fine openings 12 which may be straight or oblique is adapted to work. On the piston being raised by a cam or the like, pressure is put upon the fuel contained in the cavity, which is thus caused to pass through the openings 12 and into the cylinder, where it ignites in the usual manner. While the cavity 2 is being charged, the seating 13 closes communication with the cylinder.
