13,815. Martin, H. W. June 13. Spray carburettors.-The flow of air past the nozzle g is induced partly by exhaust gases led from the exhaust pipe e to the main air inlet b by a pipe f. This pipe is spoon-shaped at f* where it enters the exhaust-pipe, is coiled at f<2>, and further is again coiled at f<1> so as to heat the incoming air. The orifice or orifices f<3> may be adjustable both as regards area and as regards distance from the nozzle g. Means may be proyided to vary the pressure in the pipe f.
