[Addition to 24,030/06.] Two-stroke-cycle engines.-In a modification of the engine described in the parent Specification, oppositely-moving pistons 1, 2, Fig. 2, compress explosive mixture in crank casings 4, 5 which discharge into the cylinders through ports 7 and a common delivery pipe (not shown). The pistons control the inlet ports 7, exhaust port 6, and the pump admission orifices 8, 9. The crank shafts are geared through a shaft 14, and the pistons drive through short connecting- rods 13.
