Abstract

19,871. H³serich, F. Sept. 6. Ornamenting.-Consists in imitating moulded glass by applying a film of transparent material, such as lacquer, moulded in relief, to ordinary smooth glass. The moulded film is preferably formed by embossing a sheet of paper, coated on one side with an adhesive, and next applying lacquer in such a way that the depressions are filled up. The film is then transferred from the paper to the glass. The film may he coloured.
