Abstract

7491. Leroy, I. April 23. Transparencies.-Relates to the treatment of paper to imitate stained glass. A design is printed on paper, and when dry is coated with copal or other varnish in the usual way. The reverse side is then similarly coated, and, while the varnish is wet, powdered glass, mica, or similar substance is applied to form a granular coating. When the paper is applied to windows before they are in position, the granular material is applied to the paper after it is fixed to the glass.
