Abstract
19,398. Grossheim, W. Aug. 27. Ornamenting coated fabries. - Imitation stained glass is produced by coating network or fabric with a thin layer of varnish, and' applying colour over the varnish, and transparent lacquer over the colour, or both before and after the, colour. In a modification, a backing of transparent coloured tissue-paper is cemented to the fabric and coated with transparent lacquer, the coloured pattern or suhject being printed on, or applied to, the paper.
