Abstract

1517515 Reproducing original oil paintings R A DAVIES [trading as CROSSHALL REPRODUCTIONS] 29 Oct 1975 [15 Nov 1974] 49625/74 Heading B6X A reproduction of an original oil painting is made by placing a coloured print over a plate bearing marks of simulated brush strokes of the original, placing an adhesive coated canvas over the print and pressing the print and canvas on to the plate to reproduce the brush strokes. The print is made by coating the face of it with transparent plastics which is allowed to set to form a film and soaking the film and print to remove the paper backing layer.
