Abstract

Decorative plastic coated sheet is produced by (a) simultaneously applying two or more pigmented plastic compsns. with different colours onto one face of a substrate sheet, (b) allowing the compositions to mix and form a continuous coating on the surface of the substrate sheet, and (c) heating the coating to cause gelling and melting. Used as a covering material for walls, ceilings, books furniture etc. Gives decorative patterns on the sheet in which the individual pigmented compositions retain such of their individual character.
