Optically projected signals.-A kinematograph or like announcement slide has part of its surface C reserved as an opaque space on which an announcement &c. may be scratched, while another part is printed, for instance by the photographic process described in Specification 6885/13, [Class 98(ii), Photographic processes &c.], with an ornamental border or lettering B. The adhesion of the printed film to the glass or other support may be secured by coating the glass with a solution of silicate of potash.
