Plug lift valves; combinations of interdependent valves.-A combined steam stop-valve and steam-separator, comprises two superposed partitions C, B, one of which is mounted rigidly in the valve casing and provided with conical holes engaged by conical heads a' on hollow valve spindles a secured to the upper movable partition. When the stop - valve D is first raised by a hand-wheel, steam flows through the hollow valve spindles only. When the stopvalve is raised higher, a collar o engages and raises the hub s of the partition B, which permits the steam to flow also into the space between the partitions and then through holes b in the upper partition.
