[Addition to 20,738/09.] Axle-distance members.-Relates to the steam lorry described in the parent Specification, in which the engine is placed on top of a locomotive-type boiler a, and the crank-shaft drives the wheels through a differential countershaft c, chains e, and internal gearing, the chain-wheels f<1> and toothed pinions f<2> being mounted on a shaft f carried by two axle-thrust members g of adjustable length. External gearing now replaces the internal gearing between the countershaft f and road wheels.
