Abstract

191,035. Reinhardt & Co., J. Dec. 24, 1921, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Sealing.-A sealing-device comprises an electrically-heated container 4 for the wax provided with a discharge opening 6 normally closed by a valve 7, in combination with a hand seal 2 to which is connected the mechanism for operating the valve. The container 4 is attached to the stem 1 of the seal, and the valve-rod 8 is connected to a lever 9 pivoted to the stem 1. A spring 12 is interposed between the handle 11 of the seal and the lever 9 to hold the valve 7 on its seat, and an arm 13 on the lever 9 enables the valve to be opened by the hand grasping the handle 11.
