Abstract

17,819. Sidwell, E. July 31. Spray carburettors.-A nozzle A with a bellmouthed orifice is used in combination with means for varying the fuellevel in the float chamber. The means may consist of a screwed cover D with a locking- device E or a screwed adjustable bracket carrying the float levers. Three different shapes of bellmouth are described. The nozzle may be provided with a gauze-covered cap H to assist in mixing. In the Provisional Specification it.is stated that the choke-tube, which takes the form of a spring- washer, is arranged considerably above the fuel nozzle. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 24,519/07.
