190,766. Sentinella, A. E. Sept. 2, 1921. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Setting and retaining devices for flexible transmitters.-An adjustable lever linkage is adapted to control the throttle or the ignition in internalcombustion engines upon motor vehicles. A control cable g is secured to a link e which has a thimble m sliding in guides in the control lever a. The lever a turns about a fixed pivot b and is operated by a handle or thumb-piece f. The thimble connection m can be moved along the lever a and is then retained so as to give an initial setting to the cable g, which is subsequently operated when required by moving the lever. The cable-connected end of the link e has a boss l sliding in a guide k. A modification having a telescopic link is described.
