Abstract

189,634. Ward, J. T. H. Nov. 5, 1921. Liquid-level, maintaining.-In a lubricator in which oil is fed to a number of outlets by siphon wicks and which is supplied continuously with oil, a constant level is maintained by means of an adjustable overflow device. Excess oil supplied through a regulating valve 16 and channel 15 from a storage tank passes through a channel 17 in a fitting 14 and overflows through holes 19 in a vertically-adjustable tube 18, passing through a nipple 23 and a sight-glass to a drain tank. From the drain tank, oil may be pumped back to the storage tank or direct to the lubricator.
