Abstract

189,349. Dornig, W. Nov. 30, 1921. Transformers; frequency, changing.-The core of a frequency transformer 4 is wound of very thin insulated iron wire of maximum diameter 0.1 mm. The primary circuit of the transformer is tuned to the frequency of the generator 1, and the secondary circuit 5, 6 may be tuned to any desired harmonic of this frequency. The core may be saturated by continuous current.
