Abstract
188,777. Welch, H. Aug. 17, 1921. Joints and connections.-In a bedstead corner fitting having a socket into which the extremity of the side rail or bedstead bottom is thrust and retained by a locking-pin 7 passed through holes 4, 5 in register in the socket and tube 3, the socket comprises a short length of tubing 1, adapted for attachment to the corner post or end frame, either by a plate or part 2 brazed or welded to the tube extremity, or by bending or shaping an integral part 11 of the metal forming the tube 1 so as to engage the said post or end frame. Two sockets 1 on the same end frame may be strengthened by a cross-piece 8 as shown.
