Abstract

Connections.-A bedstead corner fitting made from sheet or strip metal comprises a post fitting a of C section in plan tapering towards its lower end, and a coacting fitting f of inverted U-shape in side elevation which fits over the side rail e and is riveted thereto, this member also being tapered to fit within the C-shaped member. One side of the C- shaped fitting may be opened out at its lower end into the plane of the back to enable the member to be riveted to the end rail h of the bed. The connection with the bed post l may be by means of bolts and a screwed plate m in the case of hollow metal posts. Specification 130,911 is referred to.
