Abstract

275,452. Rice, V. K., and Yates, H. Nov. 9, 1926. Joints.-A corner joint for bedsteads &c. comprises a socket 2 on the corner post 1, having a top wall and two side walls, and into which projects the end of the side rail 8. Corresponding slots 6, 7 and 9 are formed in the side walls of the socket and in the end of the rail 8, and a wedge 10 is engaged therewith, forcing the inner end of the side rail against the inner end of the socket. The wedge 10 may be carried by a chain 11.
